T.A.S.K.S.

T.A.S.K.S. offers training in both Shotokan Karate and Akisho-Ju'Jitsu

Fully insured and qualified Instructors all of who hold Instructor Indemnity Insurance of £2000,000.

T.A.S.K.S. has 12 training sessions in 7 venues per week each session is 2 hours long, the cost per 2 hour lesson is £4.oo, we advise that when you first start you where loose clothes and bare feet, after you have made a decision to take the art up as a hobby you can purchase a suit (gi) either through the club or off the internet or your local sports shop, you must also purchase a licence through the club from the association, the cost is £17 for your first licence and £15 renewal annually.

We train in Japanese and english terminology, If you decide to take up our art you will be given a welcome pack which will contain all the terminology you need.

Gradings / Tests / Exams

T.A.S.K.S. students must gain a certain amount of hours in between Gradings to be able to grade, Gradings are held every 13th Week, As we offer many venues we suggest you get at least 2 sessions in a week for you to be able and ready to grade, however your ability plays a part and just because a student may have enough hours in to grade your ability may say different. You will be graded either by the T.A.S.K.S. grading panel which will consist of at least 3 high ranking black belts known as the panel or i can call on an independent panel.
